But wait, I thought experience doesn't matter. (By the way, even if it does, Palin is the only person now in the race with actual executive experience).
I also thought being an outsider was a good thing. How much more of an outsider can you get?
You're right, Zach! If only we could elect Palin directly as president, without waiting for McCain to kick off first!
I personally think it's a brilliant move on McCain's part, for several reasons. I've actually started a blog about it. :P

Why yes, I am. Classes started last Monday. It's all going incredibly well so far.
